Per the vendor's Devin Desktop page and FAQ, Windsurf became Devin Desktop on June 2, 2026 through a regular update. The FAQ says the editor and features stay the same, pricing is unchanged, existing settings, extensions, workflows and rules carry over, and nothing is removed. Windsurf for JetBrains is in maintenance mode and its Cascade agent is being deprecated; the vendor points JetBrains users to Devin over ACP.
The IDE offers an Agent Command Center for running multiple agents locally or in Devin Cloud, support for many agents and frontier models through the Agent Client Protocol (ACP), session handoff between the local machine and the cloud with the same context, built-in Devin Review for diffs and Fast Context codebase search.
Plans are Free, Pro, Max, Teams and Enterprise. Paid plans include a usage allowance that refreshes daily and weekly (amounts not stated), with extra usage billed at API pricing; Teams is priced as a base fee plus a charge per full developer seat.
