Hugging Face

Hugging Face Hub is a platform for hosting and sharing machine learning models, datasets and demo apps (Spaces) in Git-based repositories. It offers model and dataset cards, a dataset viewer, Inference Providers for serverless model calls, Inference Endpoints for dedicated deployments, Spaces hardware including ZeroGPU, and organization features such as SSO, audit logs and storage regions on Team and Enterprise plans.

Overview

The Hub stores models, datasets and Spaces as versioned repositories with commit history, branches, pull requests and discussions, backed by the Xet storage system for large files. Model cards and dataset cards document provenance and limitations, and the Data Studio lets people browse dataset contents in the browser. More than a dozen libraries integrate with the Hub, including Transformers and the datasets library, and Spaces host Gradio, Streamlit, static or Docker apps, optionally on GPU hardware.

Compute is offered in several forms: Inference Providers route requests to third-party inference vendors at the provider's own rates with no markup from Hugging Face; Inference Endpoints run dedicated instances billed hourly; Spaces can be upgraded to paid CPU or GPU hardware; and Jobs run scheduled workloads. Organizations group people and repositories, with Resource Groups, token controls, audit logs and storage regions on paid organization plans.

Public repositories are free on a best-effort storage basis, and free accounts get 100 GB of private storage. PRO is a personal subscription at $9 per month with 1 TB private storage, up to 10 TB public storage and $2 of monthly compute credits. Team is $20 per user per month and Enterprise is listed at $50 per user per month through sales with annual commitments. Free users receive no monthly inference credits and must purchase credits to use Inference Providers.
